Even if they clicked on it by accident, it still counts.

Loving you~

It wasn't until recently, that I found out this song had lyrics. (If you hadn't caught on, it's Minnie Ripeton's "Loving you"). Growing up with a mother who watched  Bridget Jones' Diary quite often I only knew the "La, la, la, la, la, la" parts...
(Oh! And if you hadn't figured it out "Escuchar MĂșisica" means "to listen to music")

Along with a brain tumor and Parkinsons, it seems I have the plague too.
Jenna asks how I became such a hypochondriac (another disease I have ^^) when, as usual, I blame my mother xD Seriously! With the whole fainting thing I have going on, my Madre keeps bringing up family medical history (hence the brain tumor).
Then I start looking up symptoms and begin imagining that I have them (or maybe the brain tumor is making me think I'm just imagining symptoms D:).

Hunger Games midnight premiere was Thursday :D
'sides a few others Jenna and I were the only ones to dress up, the theater was filled with 12-year-olds (or those who act such age) who were Twilight crazy, and (like with most midnight premieres after a school day) I was dead tired BUT it still was an awesome movie.
At first I was a bit nervous seeing the movie. A lot of the books I read aren't....well..."mainstream" (I know, I'm such a hipster) thus don't become movies. And I see how fired up Jenna gets about the Harry Potter movies and their leaving things out (I did read the Spiderwick Chronicles when I was younger,  and the movie wasn't completely true either, but they took the first and fifth books and pasted them together. You can only expect so much when 3/5 of the story are gone).
I'm happy to report, to my other Hunger Game fans, that the movie was pretty true to the book. ^^

O'malley destroyed another tennis ball, split it in half. So, I did the most reasonable thing.
I made a pokeball! 8D
note: O'Malley is very confused as to what happened to his tennis ball).
also note: I also suspect that for anyone who plans on proposing to me in the very distant future that they break into my house, steal this, and propose with it.

Sorry guys...

Sorry I fell off the grid for a little while there. I would have quick put something together today but I was coloring this, my English assignment, for a good 6 hours today and completely collapsed afterwards. Don't get me wrong, I love coloring, but 6 hours worth can take it's toll. I'm not even quite sure why it took that long ._.

I still think I suck at bubble letters, yet I keep using them.. ._.

I have been quite busy o_o
Since last Monday we've been practicing, seemingly, non-stop for the variety show. Then the curtain opened and the lights blinded me Friday and Saturday and I somehow managed to keep it together. And now I can breath again. :]

(and will update this Friday, with more, I swear!)

"The Maddie Lisa"

Sometimes we all need to put down the comics......and appreciate some real fine art. (which really means "I forgot to ink this week's comic").

Seeing as I also have some work to catch up on, and am convinced I have a brain tumor, this'll be all for now. Translation?
I've got issues.... :]

Bedtime Stories

Most tend not to talk about silly things they do when they're alone...I make comics about it.

Today I kept finding things to do besides updating.
Oh, I have to do homework!
I have to make my bed!
I have to practice my Trombone!
Jenna's senior pictures? They need editing!
Hmmm..there's still that bridge to jump off of...

I don't know why my sub-conscience finds this so torturous ._.

I got a tablet for my birthday. c:
I could just draw on the computer now.
But,
I couldn't cheat on pencil and paper.
We're tight like that.

So, when I make something I tend to go show it off to my Padre. Jenna will tell me what's "wrong with it" and my Madre won't "get it", so he's the only one left over.
Though, he's never quite enthusiastic with his responses....
One day, while watching this commercial, I told my Padre he had to be more like the mom. Though, "you're so amazing, Megan!" was more of what I was going for. ;)
But!
Today I made a spectacular birthday gift for my cousin (while avoiding ya'll). When I was done, I started showing it off, expecting similar responses that I'd gotten in the past. Apparently he'd been taking notes;
"Oh, cool!"
"You'll never know."

(I still couldn't stop smiling to myself for an hour)

2-gether 4-ever.

Insert the chorus of "awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww"s. This just comes to show how cheese-y I can be. c:

I'm sorry. I've been, like, dead for two weeks straight. Plus, we've been going to Schmohz on Fridays (after a long day of school and WMCAT) and after going to dinner we don't get home 'til 9 or 10. And that's waaay past Megan's bedtime. Then I forget to update Saturday, and by Sunday I'm usually in the "I've already updated" mind set. Plus, as of last week, I've been getting a virus or something. Which, in no way, helps the lack of sleep that I'm feeling.
Inadvertently, I've managed to miss playing tests in band, which you'd think I'd be psyched about missing them. But really I keep having the inevitable pushed off when in reality I just want to get the nasty thing over with.

Also, Wicked should be an animated movie. Just saying.

Oh! I also got 4th chair Trombone! I've actually been there for a couple of weeks now, but I was still super excited about it (unlike, say, Jenna I'm okay with not being #1 ^^). Though, I was mostly excited by the fact that I actually scored higher than one of the other trombones who just started playing this year (I've known newbies to be waaay better then me when I've been playing since....5th grade..and still am...well...bad). Oh, oh! And we also got a 2 at solo ensemble last week! It's only my fifth red ribbon....[insert "why..?" face]

My birthday is Thursday :D
At first Jenna was complaining about how I get to turn 16 on the 16th. "Hey! You'll eventually get to turn 27 on the 27th... :D" It didn't seem to make her feel any better.. x)

Also, also. Wizard of Oz piracy ad. For the win. ^^

We babysat Brody (cute 18-month baby that we loaned out from my cousin) again. When you tickle him he makes automated baby sounds (sounds that every automated talking baby doll makes).
"Do you make automated baby sounds? Yes you do! Yes you do!"
Later we to played monkey in the middle with his favorite blanket (don't worry, he was smile-y and happy about it ^^). Then my Padre did the whole quickly-pretend-to-throw-blanket-but-not-actually-throwing-it thing. Brody preceded to look all over (in the direction he presumably threw it in) with no success.
We can't even trick the dog with that move. [insert uncontrollable laughter]
People really shouldn't let us near their children. o_o

Well, that's all for now I suppose.

Fears.

In both cases, if the events occurring in the movie were to happen, I'd probably be the extra floating to shore. (Dead)
Or at least I presume so. I tend to over think situations in the worst ways possible.

I'd finally given in and started playing "Legend Of Zelda: Skyward Sword" (the giving in part being, that I was already playing a Zelda game and really shouldn't have started a new one. Plus, I'd be playing the Wii and doing not much of anything at all).
Eventually I had to go back to the first game I'd started, the one on the DS. Going back to the simpler smaller screen that is Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks was, uh, difficult.

I went from this:

                                                                           To this:

After my very first Zelda experience (Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess) I was a little reluctant to play the other Zelda games. One thing that I really loved about the game was the art (this is also why I want an Xbox 360. They have many pretty games with epic art). But after Playing Spirit Tracks, I remembered that I also LOVE the story lines. Not as pretty looking Zelda games? We cool now.
Though playing them right after playing the pretty ones is kinda like "ewwwwwy."

Also, I think Skyward Sword has the most awesome-ist villain. He's just so bad-a! 8D

Megan Elizabeth died Friday night at 8:00pm shortly after she laid down to sleep that night. She wasn't revived until 11:00am the next day after taking a 15 min. shower.
Seriously, man. This week has gone on forever. I didn't even have the energy to do much of anything with thought or passion. I was on autopilot (though I did feel better after 13 hours of sleep and a long hot shower ^^).
Which! Brings me to my art class teacher's favorite joke (that makes absolutely NO sense, but you burst out laughing any way).
A plane was flying when all of a sudden it crashed. What made the plane crash?
......
........
.......
The pilot was a piece of bread!
..................
I know, absurd. But you at least giggled a little, right?

I felt like a real artist this week when, fixing a bit of my painting that I disliked, I used my hand as a palate.
I am now happy with my painting of a Giraffe getting ready for a date. ^^
(this is the unedited version of the painting, btw)

I started reading "Zombies vs Unicorns", a collection of Zombie and Unicorn story where you get to decide which is better in the end. There was this one story that Jenna told me not to read because it was scary, at least not right before bed. I read it and it actually is now one of my favorites. ^^

Last week Friday, the last day for exams, my Padre woke me up as usual. I got up, took a 5 min. shower, got dressed, had breakfast, and promptly waited for my ride to arrive. She didn't come.
Slightly puzzled, I looked at the clock.
2:05am.
I looked at another clock. 2:05am. The all said it. 2:05am. Some how, my Padre misread 1:25am as 6:25am.
Luckily being a glass half-full kind of gal rather than half-empty like Jenna I was a bit pleased.
Hey! Four more hours of sleep! 8D

There's probably more that I'm missing, but being as stuffed up and sickly as I've become now, I think I'm going to hit the hay.

Spanish Class

You'd think it'd be in Spanish....you'd think they wouldn't be saying it loud enough for the teacher to hear. You'd think the teacher would notice it. You'd also think that you wouldn't call your best friend a [rhymes with "witch"].
You'd think a lot before coming to our school.

Sometimes I think they have student teachers come to our school to scare them from the profession. Some of the others can be pretty bad sometimes.. In 8th grade, some of my fellow students ended a student teachers time a bit early. Though, the year before we also managed to have 5 calls to 911 and 4 ambulances....so...

I made four comics this week. Aren't you proud of me? 8D
It must be the weather or something....

Dust has become my worst enemy. I've been cleaning my room the last couple of days and the dust has been attacking my system D:
When I leave the dust it doesn't bother me the slightest! But if I actually dust? I get the sniffles.
I hate the sniffles.

I've been trying to decide lately if I was a budding scientist or a demented child. When cleaning my room, I found a dead grasshopper that I'd kept (one found on my grandparents' driveway in Alabama) and the molting remains from one of my hermit crabs (R.I.P. Rex).
The scientist thing would also make sense with my whole rock collection, but I don't see how my toy cars fit into that. (two collections that my Papaw got me into ^^)

I am NOT alone! :D
One of the judges on "Face Off" also calls underwear underoos. ^^

Just ordered "Power Puff the complete series" and "Dexter's Laboratory: season one". Can't. Wait.

Well, 'tis all for now. Toodles~

P.S. It's snowing. :)
